Glare free light for reading and other detail tasks
The Multi-Temp is not just another light. It was scientifically designed
to solve a problem that most artificial light sources have - a limited color range of lighting. Senior citizens and those
with impaired vision find that the Multi-Temp lets users focus easier and longer without eye fatigue. Under the bright clean natural looking light detail tasks are clearer, sharper and much easier on the eyes.
Colors are more vibrant and accurate. The color temperature range of the light can be tuned to
the needs of the user. Additionally, since the light bulbs are shielded from indirect view, the light is glare
free illuminating only the task at hand.
The Multi-Temp Light is mounted on a fully adjustable boom type steel tripod
with extended legs for stability. The light head can be adjusted to position as high as 8 feet or sideways as much as 3
feet. Optional leg weight bags are available if the light is extended sideways
beyond the 3 foot center of gravity or in windy conditions.
Since the compact fluorescent light bulbs only become warm to the touch, there is no burn or fire hazard
and the light is comfortable regardless of position or nearness to the user. The two rotary switches permit selection of any
one, two, three or four bulbs so the light output can be as low as 20 watts (equivalent to a 85-watt incandescent bulb) or
80 watts total (equivalent to 320 watts of incandescent light). The user can select the colors or mix of colors used.
